Our Story
Great Standard Consulting Ltd was established with a clear vision: to create an engineering consultancy that combines technical excellence, strategic thinking and effective project leadership.
The company’s foundations are built on decades of engineering, project-management and advisory experience across power systems, energy, industrial projects and infrastructure. That experience has included work in different technical environments and international markets, providing a practical understanding of how projects move from concept and design into implementation and operation.
Over time, the energy sector has changed significantly. Conventional power systems are becoming more decentralised and digital. Renewable energy and storage are changing network requirements. Industries are under pressure to improve efficiency and reduce emissions. Green hydrogen is creating new infrastructure opportunities. Great Standard Consulting Ltd was founded by Dr. Abdurazag Elkhadrawe, an electrical power and energy professional with approximately four decades of experience in engineering, energy projects, project management and technical advisory.
His professional experience has developed across power systems, energy infrastructure, industrial projects, renewable energy, project engineering and project-management environments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
His approach to GSC reflects a career-long belief that engineering excellence requires more than selecting technology. It requires understanding how systems operate, how projects fail, how risks should be managed and how engineering decisions affect performance throughout the asset lifecycle.
Under his leadership, GSC is being developed as an independent, internationally oriented consultancy that combines established engineering expertise with emerging areas including smart grids, energy storage, green hydrogen, artificial intelligence, digital engineering and sustainable project delivery.
